I'm the founder of OWL Professional Solutions, where I help professionals build the confidence and interview skills they need to take the next step in their careers.
Throughout my years working in libraries and supporting professionals as they grew in their careers, I noticed something important: many talented, highly qualified people struggle with interviews—not because they lack the experience or skills, but because they don't always know how to confidently communicate the value they bring.
That's where I come in.
I believe interviews aren't about memorizing perfect answers or trying to be someone you're not. They're about understanding your strengths, telling your story, and communicating your experience with clarity, authenticity, and confidence.

How I Became the
Older Wiser Librarian
Throughout my over thirty-year career in libraries, I've mentored staff, served on hiring committees, and had the privilege of watching talented professionals grow into confident leaders.
One thing became clear to me: so many qualified people walk into interviews doubting themselves. They have the experience, the skills, and the passion, but they struggle to talk about their strengths with confidence. I've seen firsthand how that self-doubt can get in the way of incredible opportunities.
I also learned that confidence isn't something you're born with—it's something you build. With thoughtful preparation, honest feedback, and the right encouragement, I've watched people completely transform how they interview and how they see themselves.
